Debbie Jean Kennamore, 58

Debbie Jean Kennamore, 58, a resident of Parsons, Tennessee, and formerly of Ripley, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Funeral services honoring Debbie’s life will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Jesus Name Community Church in Walnut, Mississippi, at 2:00 PM, with Rhonda McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
Debbie was born on July 15, 1968, in Tippah County, Mississippi, to the late R.C. and Imogene Woods Porterfield. She was a homemaker and a member of Lord’s Sanctuary Non-Denominational Church.
Debbie had a vibrant personality and a love for life. She adored anything that was tie-dyed, fishing, bright colors, and all things Baby Yoda. She was known for speaking her mind openly and honestly—never leaving anyone to wonder what she was thinking. She deeply loved her canine companion, Jadea.
Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Danny Bennett; three daughters, Niki Russell (Joslyn) of Booneville, Mississippi, Isabella Bennett of Parsons, Tennessee, and Samantha Bennett of Henderson, Tennessee; one son, Jessie Porterfield (Heather Burns) of Parsons, Tennessee; one sister, Kathy Porterfield; one brother, Rickey Porterfield; seven grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Adam and Raylan Kennamore, Kaitlynn Porterfield, Rhett Bennett, and Hayden Bawcum, with one more on the way; a host of nieces and nephews; and her loyal canine companion, Jadea.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Teresa Porterfield; and one niece, Katie Porterfield.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dakota Morris, Timmy Morris, Donald Sumner, A.J. Wilbanks, Tyler Woods, and Willie Woods.
