Charlotte Coleman Davidson, 91 passed away on May 23, 2026. She was born October 11, 1934 to Leland and Pamelia Coleman in Macon Mississippi. She graduated from West Point High School, where she met and married the love of her life, Jesse Donald Davidson, in 1956. Together they built a life, home, and family in New Albany, Mississippi. She was an avid Bridge Player and loved her Bridge family greatly. She bowled in her early years in the New Albany bowling league. She worked in the transportation industry in accounting with Robinson Truck Line, Merchant Truck Line, and eventually retired from Flying H Transportations Inc. She was a long-time member of the Northeast Mississippi Traffic Club. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the country. She was an active member of the First Methodist Church of New Albany for many years and loved her church family. Affectionally known as “Nana” to her granddaughters, she loved spending time with them and taking them shopping in her spare time. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 70 years, Jesse Davidson, her son Tracy Davidson (Sherri) of Byhalia, Mississippi, two granddaughters Jordan Smith (Logan)of Hernando, Mississippi, Kristin Thomson (Jacob) of Byhalia, Mississippi, two great grandchildren Latham Reed Smith, Ivy Joycelle Smith and her sister Pamelia Henley (Charles) Loxley AL. She is preceded in death by her parents Leland and Pamelia Coleman and her sister Nancy Hughes (Bobby).
Visitation will be at United Funeral Service on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Chris Carter will officiate. Burial will be at Vista Memorial Park.
