Bobby Lee Watson, 61

April 24, 1965 – April 29, 2026

Bobby Lee Watson was born on April 24, 1965 to the late Oscar Raymond Watson and Shirley Pinson in Pontotoc, Mississippi. On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, he departed this life at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he answered his Master’s call and took hold of the Master’s hand.

Bobby Lee confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Naylor Chapel CME Church, where he remained a member until death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Raymond Watson and Shirley Jean Pinson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Janie Watson of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wardlaw of Pontotoc, MS; two brothers, James Watson and Larry Watson; one sister, Pamela Jean Watson; one son, Antonio Robinson; two uncles, Billy Wardlaw and Willie B. Wardlaw; his stepfather, Bobby Joe Pinson; and one sister in law, Brenda Watson all of Pontotoc, MS.

Bobby leaves to cherish his life and memories: two daughters, Barbara K. Lipsey and Marilyn Robinson; two granddaughters, Aaliyah Watson and Aubrey Robinson; four grandsons, Michael Moore, Tate, Dallas, and Antonio, Jr.; one great grandson, Zaire Raines; two brothers, Oscar Watson and Robert Lee Watson; one sister, Lillie Pearl Watson; a special aunt, Mary Ann Bell all of Pontotoc, MS; three nieces, LaQuita Watson, Shirley “KeKe” Watson, and Evelyn Fox; two nephews, Oscar Oneal Watson and Tommy Lee Watson; five great nieces; four great nephews all of Pontotoc, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Naylor Chapel CME Church, 326 Clark Street, Pontotoc, MS. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Naylor Chapel CME Church.
