Tammy Jeanette Gonzalez, 56

January 16, 1970 — June 26, 2026

Tammy Jeanette Gonzalez, age 56, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 26, 2026.

Born in California to the late Nancy and Sammy Goodin, Tammy made Mississippi her home when she moved to Baldwyn with her family in 1995. There, she built a life rooted in love, laughter, lasting friendships, and countless treasured memories.

Above all else, Tammy’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Anthony Black (Ixtsen Black), and her daughter, Amanda Gonzalez. She was endlessly proud of them and found so much happiness in celebrating every milestone, accomplishment, and moment they shared throughout their lives.

Tammy shared many wonderful years with her beloved longtime partner, Elvis Adams, affectionately known as “T-Bone.” Together they found happiness in life’s simple moments—quiet evenings at home, chatting with neighbors, and relaxing on the patio. One of Tammy’s favorite pastimes was lovingly “supervising” T-Bone while he worked in the yard, a memory that will forever bring smiles to those who knew her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Goodin and Sammy Goodin.

She leaves behind her loving son, Anthony Black (Ixtsen Black); her cherished daughter, Amanda Gonzalez; her devoted partner, Elvis Adams; Tyson Adams; Alexis Adams; her beloved granddaughter, Aetha; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Tammy will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious sense of humor, unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she shared so freely with everyone around her. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, loved, and at ease. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
