Stephanie Sue Wright Bridges, known lovingly as Stephanie Bridges, passed away on June 29, 2026, in New Albany, Mississippi, at the age of 56.
Stephanie was born on January 10, 1970, in Raleigh, North Carolina, and lived a life marked by devotion, strength, and care for those around her. She was a Christian woman whose faith was an important part of her daily life, and she found joy and fellowship as a member of Life at Tupelo Church. Her church family held a special place in her heart, and she valued the comfort, encouragement, and sense of belonging that came from her faith community.

She served as a cook at school and also worked as a bus driver, roles that reflected her dependable nature and her willingness to serve her community. She was known for being loving, kind, and thoughtful, and those who knew her will remember her as someone who could be strong willed yet always found a way to help others. She had a generous spirit and a heart that was especially tender toward the people she loved.
Family was the center of Stephanie’s life. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother, and she took great pride in the family she helped build and nurture. She is survived by her parents, Stephen Hilliard and Eva Wright Ingram; her stepfather, Jerry Ingram; her husband, Jimmy Bridges her two daughters, Jamie Bridges and Daesha Carr; her son, Dalton Bridges; her siblings, Candice, Nikki, and Brandon; her grandchildren, Ellie Bridges, Piper Bridges, and Anniston Bridges, Fowler, Emzie Rady; and her sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Adam Crum.
Stephanie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including reading, shopping, and spending time with the people who mattered most to her. She was sometimes impatient, but even that was part of the spirited personality that made her unique and memorable. Her love for others was evident in the way she lived, and she often went out of her way to offer help, comfort, or encouragement when it was needed most.
