Robert Earl Bryan, 92
January 20, 1934 – July 9, 2026
Robert Earl Bryan, 92, formerly of Greenwood, MS, joyfully greeted his Savior Jesus Christ on July 9, 2026.
Born on January 20, 1934, to Fred and Wilma Bryan, he was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a proud Army veteran who faithfully prayed for our nation, its leaders, and our troops. He was known as a loving caregiver to his wife’s grandparents, her parents, his parents, several friends and most importantly, to the love of his life, Mary Ann.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Wilma Bryan, his brothers Kenneth and Fred (Christine), his son-in-law, Craig Barnard, and his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann McCuan Bryan.
Robert leaves his daughters, Mary Beth Barnard, Maura Ellen Bryan, and Maxine (Tim) Durham, his grandchildren, Mary Claire (John) Armstrong, Timothy (Emma) Durham III, Margaret Ellen Barnard, Ann McKeel (Luke) Love, Nathan (Emma) Barnard, and his great-granddaughters Mary Diana and Aspen Armstrong.
The graveside service and internment with military honors will be at 11:00 on Friday, July 17, at the North MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael, MS, with Timothy Durham III officiating. Holland Funeral Directors are honored to be serving the family.
Pallbearers will be John Armstrong, Nathan Barnard, Tim Durham, Jr., Timothy Durham, III, Michael Epperson, and Luke Love.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
