Sally Florence Montgomery Busboom, 70, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Born on July 21, 1956, in Alabama, Sally was the cherished daughter of Donald and Christine Hood Montgomery. She lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. A Christian, Sally found joy in God’s creation and appreciated life’s simple blessings. She loved spending time reading, tending to her flower gardens, and enjoying the beauty and peace of nature. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Sally’s greatest treasure was her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Stephen Busboom; her sons, Dillon Lee Busboom, Christopher Joseph Papania, and Joseph Levi Papania; her sister, Starr Montgomery; her brothers, Anthony Montgomery and Matthew Montgomery; and her treasured grandchildren, Baylie Anne Busboom, LouElla James Papania, and Avery Joseph Papania. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Christine Hood Montgomery; her brothers Johnny Montgomery, and Mark Montgomery, and her sister Brenda Powell.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, Sally’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to all who mourn her passing.
