Marcus Martez Gilbert, age 49, of Tupelo, Mississippi, passed away on October 23, 2026. He was born on March 10, 1977, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to the union of  Lemmie Fields Jr. and Estelle Gilbert.

Marcus will be remembered for the love and loyalty he had for his family and friends.

Marcus is Survived by 7 Children Javontavious Stewart (Daisha), Katavious Stewart, London Fields, Precious Fields, Aaliyah Fields, LaMarcus Gilbert and Markese Gilbert. 5 Brothers Ricky Fields, Donnell Hodges(Loretta), Rodriquez(Rod)Gilbert(Linda), Carl Duckett, Derrick Duckett, 3 Sisters, Cynthia Duckett(Alesha), Persona Copeland(Lamar) and Angela Baylor(Ernest). 8 grandchildren, A host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.  A significant other who was very dear to him Venus Fears.

A memorial will be held at a later date. The Family would like to thank everyone for the love and support that has been shown to our family through this difficult time.
