Christy Ann Duncan, 57

June 16, 1969 – November 2, 2026

Christy Ann Duncan passed away on November 2, 2026, in Collierville, Tennessee, at the age of 57. She was born on June 16, 1969, in New Albany, Mississippi, and lived a life marked by kindness, independence, and a spirited sense of humor that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Christy was the daughter of George William Duncan, Jr and the late Brenda Ann Howell Duncan. She carried the values of family, resilience, and hard work throughout her life. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Jade Taylor, and a proud grandmother to Kyleigh Gibbs, Patrick Gibbs, and Isaiah Gibbs. Her love for her family was steady and sincere, and she found great joy in the time she spent with those she held dear. She is also survived by her sisters, Tracy Greganti and her husband Frank, and Amanda Lawrence and her husband Wes, who shared many cherished memories with her over the years.

Christy dedicated much of her professional life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She served at Resthaven Nursing Home and later at Diversacare Nursing Home, where her compassion and commitment were evident in the care she gave to her patients. Her work reflected the generous nature that defined her, and she was respected for the comfort, dignity, and kindness she brought to those in her care. Nursing was more than a job to Christy. It was a calling that allowed her to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Outside of her work, Christy embraced life with a free spirit and a personality that could light up a room. She really enjoyed thrifting and had a gift for finding treasures in unexpected places. She also loved DIY projects and took pride in creating and fixing things with her own hands. The beach held a special place in her heart, and she found peace and happiness in its beauty and calm. Christy was quick with one-liners and had a wit that could bring laughter to any conversation. Her humor, honesty, and lively spirit made her unforgettable.

Those who knew Christy will remember her as someone who lived authentically and loved deeply. She had a way of making people feel at ease, and her presence brought warmth and energy wherever she went. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, her sharp sense of humor, and the many moments that reflected her unique and vibrant personality.
