Andrew Roach, 78

Andrew Junior Roach, age 78, of Detroit, Alabama, passed away on January 2, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice.

Andrew was born on September 18, 1947, in California to the late Steven and Mary Roach. Throughout his life, Andrew was known for his strong work ethic and his love for working with his hands. He found joy in simple pleasures—browsing thrift stores, taking road trips, and spending meaningful time with those he loved most. Family was always at the center of his life, and he shared close bonds with his children, grandchildren, and extended family.

He is survived by his son, Steven Johnny Roach of Detroit, Alabama; his brothers, Dwayne Roach and Wayne Roach; his grandchildren, Keith Roach, Michelle Reaves, and Gina Dodd; and his great-granddaughter, Madi Roach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Mary Roach; his brothers, Jimmy Roach and Johnny Roach; his sisters, Inata Roach, Marilyn Santos, and Doris Roach; and his sister-in-law, Suzanne Roach.

No public services are planned at this time.
