Arts, Beats, and Eats spotlights varied New Albany talents
The Arts, Beats, and Eats juried art event Friday evening, August 7th, drew about 200 people to the In Bloom reception hall in New Albany.
Art patrons enjoyed a wide selection of foods provided by local restaurants. They listened to music performed by singer-guitarist Drew Dieckmann.
Diners enjoyed foods from several New Albany restaurants.
Musician Drew Dieckmann provided entertainment at Arts, Beats and Eats.
Jan McMillin and Betty King were the gatekeepers for the Arts, Beats and Eats event.
Cash prizes are awarded during the annual show for Best in Show artist, Most Creative artist, and Best in Show restaurant. Artwork is available for purchase during the event.
Restaurateur Angele Mueller’s (at left) Tallahatchie Gourmet was among the local restaurants providing food for the juried art show.
Blacksmith and artist Jonathan Smith makes a consistent and colorful fashion statement with his flat cap and matching suspenders and undershirts.
