Ashly Jennifer Suhreptz, 47

February 12, 1977  –  October 23, 2024

TUPELO – Ashly Jennifer Suhreptz, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, to John Howard Bew of Vidalia, Georgia (deceased) and Toni Surella Swindle Bew of Tupelo, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024. Ashly’s life was a journey of love, service, and unending dedication to those around her. Ashly grew up with a passion for learning, which led her from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida, to the University of Memphis, and finally to William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her career as a college professor and trainer in Contract Law and Acquisitions brought her deep fulfillment, allowing her to share her knowledge and help shape the minds of future professionals.

Beyond her career, Ashly cherished her creative pursuits, including quilting, embroidery, cross stitch, painting, and jewelry making—though, to the amusement of those who knew her, cooking was never among her talents.

Ashly is survived by her adoring husband, Paul Christian Suhreptz, with whom she shared a profound and lasting love; her two beloved children, Lucille Maude and Hank Ridge, who were her pride and joy; her mother, Toni Bew of Tupelo; brother Dean Bew and family of Memphis, TN; her devoted in-laws, John and Nancy Suhreptz of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, and sister-in-law Beth Kreisler and her daughter, Jane. Ashly was blessed with a close and loving extended family, including her cherished friend Julia King, whose support brought her comfort and strength; her “Unkie” Charles Ridge Swindle, and uncles William Pang, Reggie Martin, and Richard Bew, as well as her beloved Aunt Jenny (Bew) Davis; and cousins Keri and Chris Davis, were were dear to her heart.

Those who knew Ashly will remember her as a compassionate soul, a devoted wife and mother, and a bright spirit who touched countless lives. She faced her final battle with cancer bravely, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ashly’s memory can be made to the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society (P.O. Box 2143, Tupelo, MS 38803), an organization close to her heart.
