Southern artist William Dunlap’s work will be on exhibit beginning Friday, September 10th at Union County Heritage Museum. His work presents distinctly southern themes, and will be on view until November 13, 2021.

As Mark Twain once said about news reports of his own death having been “premature,” news reports of Mississippi being in the number one spot for COVID deaths per million of population may still be a bit premature. But Mark Twain did eventually die, and, astonishingly, it looks like our lightly populated state will soon outpace far more populous states to claim the shameful title of Number One state in deaths per million.
