NAHS holds college countdown day

College Countdown Application Day was held Friday, September 25 at New Albany High School.  High school counselors assisted students in completing applications to colleges they are interested in attending.  Twenty-three seniors participated in College Countdown Application Day and there were 34 college applications submitted during the day. All NAHS seniors will complete a Northeast Mississippi Community College Application at a later date.

Hospital pleased with drive-through vaccination clinic

Baptist Memorial Hospital officials said they were very pleased with Tuesday’s drive-through influenza vaccination clinic. The vaccinations are usually offered through an annual in-hospital health fair, not held this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Kindergarten students learn about farm life

Middle School honors its custodians

Friday, October 2, was National Custodian Appreciation Day. New Albany Middle School celebrated this day by treating their custodians to lunch and presenting them with a gift made in the Imagine STEAM Lab.  Pictured l-r:  Chris Wilson, Tim Johnson, Brenda Marshall, and Principal Paul Henry.
