Winter Olympics: New Albany Elementary School style

First graders at New Albany Elementary School participated in a Winter Olympics event on Friday, February 16.  The event begin with an opening ceremony which included the National Anthem.  Students then rotated through special Winter Olympics games such as luge, speed skiing, hockey, curling, and skeeball. Fighting burning dust all in a day’s work for NAFD

Bobby Cobb arraigned, bond set in Poolville murder case

Bobby Joe Cobb, accused in the shooting death Saturday of Jeffrey Whitten, was arraigned Monday in Union County.. Cobb, age 28, is charged with first degree murder. Justice Court. New Albany football players team up for the community

New Albany football team members cleaned up several lawns on Adams Street, Thursday, Feb. 8th. The Bulldogs did the work as a community service project, raking up and bagging leaves. The players also cleaned leaves and trash from the gutters along the Adams Street.
