Mysterious fire destroys auto in downtown area

This Ford Mustang convertible caught fire in the downtown New Albany alley next to the Tanglefoot Trail, shortly before 2 p.m.Sunday afternoon, March 20. It was quickly a total loss. Cause of the fire is not known, but speculation at the scene was that “it was electrical.” There were no personal injuries.
