Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County Nationally Recognized with an “A” Spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade
New Albany, MS,Tuesday, May 26, 2020–Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County was awarded an “A” ratingin the spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. Baptist Union County joins two other Baptist hospitals in Mississippi in receiving an “A” rating, which are Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle and Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

Developed under the guidance of a national Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. acutecare hospitals twice per year. The Hospital Safety Grade’s methodology is peer reviewed and fully transparent, and the results are free to the public.
