Pontotoc – Barbara Bullard, 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, surrounded her family. She was born on Monday, November 10, 1958, to her parents James G. and Helen Hopper Lewis. She was a devoted wife, a cherished sister, and a beloved aunt who leaves behind a legacy of love and deep family ties.

Barbara had a laid-back and easygoing spirit and was someone who enjoyed the simple things in life. She had a lifelong love of NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and found joy in camping, playing dominoes, and spending time with the people she loved most. She was always in a T-shirt and jeans or a comfortable pair of sweats, and she never needed much to be happy. Barbara also enjoyed a long career as a manager at Album Alley, where her love of music and connection with others became a meaningful part of her life. Those who knew her will remember her for her kind heart, genuine personality, and the simple joys she found in everyday life.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Bullard; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Betty and Danny Owen; sister, Nancy Lewis; two nephews, Tony Barkley (Debbie) of Mooreville and Michael Aderholt (Debbie) of Tupelo; great-nephew, Matthew Barkley (Carley) of Belden; and great-niece, Catherine Prado (Juan) of Memphis.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James G. and Helon Hopper Lewis; grandparents, Clyde and Ethyl Hopper; and sister, Judy Lewis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time, Friday, August 14, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.

Funeral service for Barbara will be at 1 p.m. at Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Danny Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park.
