Beck Hester, 25
February 15, 1999 — November 22, 2024
Tupelo- William Beck Hester peacefully joined his late mother, Ree, in Heaven, at the age of 25 years on Friday, November 22, 2024, at his home in Madison next to his well-worn Bible. Beck was born February 15, 1999, to Christopher “Chris” Steven Hester and Ree Twitty Hester.
Beck accepted Christ at a young age and was a faithful child of God. He enjoyed going on mission trips and sharing his love for Jesus Christ with others, not just through his words but by his actions.
Following his graduation from Tupelo High School in 2017, Beck enrolled at the University of Mississippi where he graduated with a degree in Biology in 2021. While at Ole Miss, he was a proud and active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Beck was currently in his fourth year at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry.
Although Beck was always studious and intelligent, it was his sharp-witted humor that set him apart. He was both fun and funny. He enjoyed socializing and was always happy to see and share time with friends and family. He was loved by all who were blessed to know him.
Beck is survived by his father, Dr. Chris Hester and his wife, Melissa, of Tupelo; brothers, Reese Hester (Abby) and Hamp Hester both of Tupelo; niece, Ivy Ree Hester; paternal grandmother, Martha Hester; aunts, Stephanie West (Dr. Peter), Michelle Hester Taylor, and Lisa Twitty; uncle, Russ Twitty (Rhonda); cousins, Hayden West (Anna Laura), Sanders West (Maggie), Noah West, Reed Taylor (Caroline), Graham Taylor, Madison Twitty (Kassy), Jackson Twitty, Hunter Twitty, Mary Ashton Taylor Graves (Bartlett), Kirksey Taylor Harwood (George), and Mallory Twitty Holt (Nick); and a whole host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ree Twitty Hester; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Edna Twitty; paternal grandfather, Steve Hester; and his uncle, Richard Twitty.
