Bobby Louis Chambers, 56

July 25, 1968 – October 11, 2024

With heavy hearts but Faith in the promise of Heavens Eternal Life, we the family announce the peaceful transition of our beloved “Bobby Louis Chambers”, who departed this earthly life on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Methodist-LeBonheur Hospital in Germantown, TN. Bobby was born on July 25, 1968 to James C Chambers and the late Virgie Grace Chambers, in Booneville, Mississippi. Bobby shared his life in service to others and was a resident of Rienzi, Mississippi, and later moved to Corinth, Mississippi where he touched many lives with his kindness and devotion.
Bobby began his spiritual journey early in life, finding his faith home at Synagogue Missionary Baptist Church in Rienzi, MS. There, he served faithfully in various ministries, such as the Choir, Ushering and anything else that was needed of him. He was always greeting others with a welcoming spirit and a heart full of love. His faith and commitment to the Lord were clear in every aspect of his life. He genuinely loved his family, his church family, his neighbors and most of all, his relationship with God.
Bobby was a 1987 graduate of Thrasher High School, he continued his education at Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he earned an Associate degree in Automotive Mechanics in
1989. Bobby pursued a career as a Concrete Finisher, dedicating his skills and work ethic to his craft. Bobby’s hobbies were watching wrestling, basketball, and cheering for his favorite football team (Dallas Cowboys), which brought him relaxation.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for those who will continue to celebrate his life. To cherish his memory, he leaves his father, James Cliffton Chambers of Detroit, MI;
Sisters: Tina Faye Leslie of Corinth, MS, Casandra Ann Harvell (Frederick) of Rienzi, MS, Tracy Lynn Treadwell (Eric) of Mentor; OH; Brothers: Gregory Douglas Chambers (Dianna) of Rienzi, MS, Marcus Eugene Chambers of Rienzi, MS, Tommy Allen Chambers of Rienzi, MS, and the Watson Family of Corinth, MS.
He is also remembered by his Uncles: Willie C. Chambers of South Bend, IN, Joe L. Leslie (Katherine), R.C. Leslie, both of Rienzi, MS, and Charles R. Mitchell (Dianne) of St. Louis, MO;
Aunt: Una M. Miller (Son Otis) of Rienzi, MS; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, classmates and a close friend like a brother(William “Terry” Barnett).

“Bon” and Jerramie F. Chambers “Nip” Grandparents: Lige & Katherine Chambers and Douglas & Marie Leslie; Aunts: Majorie Heavens (Leroy), Ruby Hurd (Henry). Uncles: James Bell, and John Chambers. Nephew: Emmanuel Ray Leslie.
In this time of sorrow, we find solace in knowing that Bobby has gone home to be with the Lord, where there is no more pain or suffering. We are comforted by the words of John 14:2-3, “In my
Father’s house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you.” Bobby has entered his mansion, where he will rest in peace and joy in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
