Bradley Fowler, 56
January 4, 1969 – May 29, 2025
TUSCALOOSA / TUPELO – Bradley Fred “Brad” Fowler, 56, ended his earthly pilgrimage after a period of declining health. Brad died Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He was born January 4, 1969 to Fred Fowler, who survives, and the late Brenda Joyce Gilmore Raines. A heavy metal and rock music lover, Brad lived an independent life full of adventure. He worked many years for the MS Department of Transportation before becoming disabled on the job. He was a “red-light” installation expert. Previously, he was a truck driver as well. He graduated from Shannon High School in 1987. In the last many years of his life, one of his great enjoyments and ministries was volunteering at The Orchard Church, where he was a brilliant handyman, maintenance worker and loved yard maintenance. His life ended too early but Brad squeezed the lemon of life until the last drop fell. He will be missed.
A service celebrating his life will take place at 4 PM Sunday, June 1, 2025 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with Pastor Bryan Collier of The Orchard officiating. Private burial will be next to his mother, Brenda, at Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 PM-service time on Sunday only at Holland-Tupelo Chapel, which is honored to be serving their friends. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Live-sreaming at 4 PM Sunday.
Brad is survived by his father Fred; sons, Brandon Fowler (Ashley Funderburk) of Pontotoc, and Matthew Fowler of Douglasville, GA, and daughter Brandi Fowler of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Logan Hewitt and Shon Evans Wade Williams; siblings Dewayne Fowler of Saltillo, Shane Fowler of Saltillo, and Leslie Jibben (Jason) of Douglasville, GA; and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Raines.
