Brandon Presley to campaign in New Albany October 31
NEMiss.News has been informed that Brandon Presley will be in New Albany on the morning of Tuesday, October 31st to meet voters and discuss his reasons for running for the Governor’s office.
Presley is a lifelong resident of Nettleton, and was elected Mayor there at age 23. He was elected in 2007 as Public Service Commissioner for the Northern District, and has been reelected four times since then. He has been successful in bringing high-speed internet to rural Mississippi communities to improve access to jobs and education. He has been instrumental in lowering utility rates for Mississippians and for pushing the “Hire Mississippi” initiative to increase employment of Mississippians instead of out-of-state workers.
Brandon Presley will be stopping by New Albany’s Tallahatchie Gourmet at 11:15 am, Tuesday October 31st. This is one week before election day. The public is invited to be there to ask your questions and hear his answers.
