New Albany Career & Technical Education students received honors at two regional competitions

SkillsUSA Competition

The following New Albany School of Career & Technical Education students received honors at the SkillsUSA Region 1 District Competition held at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia.

 

(l-r): Bradley Robbins (New Albany High School), 2nd place, Electrical Construction Wiring; Owen White (Ingomar Attendance Center), 3rd place, Cabinet Making; and Will Coleman (East Union Attendance Center), 1st place, Automotive Service Technology.

All three students will advance to the SkillsUSA State Competition.

 

Technology Students Association (TSA) Competition

Several students at the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education recently received honors at the Technology Students Association (TSA) Northern District Competition held at NEMCC in Booneville.
(pictured in no particular order): Dylan Bristow (Myrtle Attendance Center), Luke Henry (New Albany High School), Max Smithey (West Union Attendance Center), Andy Jeter (New Albany High School), Ashlee Stout (New Albany High School), and Stanton Wilson (Myrtle Attendance Center), 1st place, Digital Video Production and 1st place, On Demand Video; Daniel Bullock (New Albany High School) and Zane Chapman (New Albany High School), 1st place, Technology Problem Solving; and Samuel Rossetti (New Albany High School), 3rd place, Prepared Presentation.
The students will advance to the TSA State Competition.
