Carmen Rodrigue Blanchard, 84

Carmen Rodrigue Blanchard, 84, resident of New Albany, passed away peacefully Monday, March 31, 2025, at New Albany Health and Rehab.
Born July 9, 1940, in Harvey, Louisiana, Mrs. Blanchard was the daughter of the late Wilva and Carmen Faucheaux Rodrigue. A graduate of West Jefferson High School in Louisiana, she was employed as a court clerk for Jefferson Parish until her retirement. On January 16, 1960, she married her beloved husband, Gale, where together they raised three cherished children and built a life with one another. Later in life, they moved to New Albany, where she became a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Mrs. Blanchard’s service will be held in Louisiana, still the family ask that you continue to share the stories made with such a sweet lady. They find comfort knowing that she is peacefully resting, as her memory lives on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched.
Memories will be cherished by her husband, Gale, two daughters, Eydie Pullman (James) of New Albany, and Donna Fasullo (Tony) of Marrero, Louisiana, one son, Davin Blanchard of Marrero, Louisiana, two brothers, Raymond and Weldon Rodrigue, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents.
