Carolyn Pugh Nolan, 69

November 20, 1955  –  February 13, 2025

SMITHVILLE – Carolyn Pugh Nolan died Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. She was born on November 20, 1955, in Coffeeville, Mississippi to Burl Pugh and Mary Whitman Pugh. She graduated from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, MS. She worked for many years at Baptist Hospital in Oxford and was loved by many. She loved animals, shopping, and spending time with her nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Alred (Richard) of Smithville, and her brothers, Jeffrey Pugh (Brenda) of Lostant, IL, and Kevin Pugh (Juaquine) of Brandon, MS; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl Pugh and Mary Ann Melton; and her husband, Tony Nolan.

A Memorial Service honoring Carolyn’s life will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at Cross Bound Church in Smithville, MS. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
