Chad Glasson is candidate for the office of Union County Sheriff
The future of Union County is at a crossroads.
On Tuesday, August 8th, YOU will make a decision that will affect the future of Union County. My name is Chad Glasson. I want to make a positive change in the great county we call home. I am a lifelong resident of Union County. I graduated from Ingomar Attendance Center. I am married to Kristi McGregor Glasson. We live in the Liberty Community and are members of Liberty Baptist Church. We have five children,
Heather (Austin), Tristin, Makenzi (Caleb), Anna Laruen, Baylee, and five grandchildren.
I served our country in the United States Marine Corps, Military Police EOD Division at the rank of Sergeant in 1995. I was honorably discharged and returned home, where I began my Law Enforcement Career at the Union County Sheriff ’s Department under Sheriff Joe Bryant. During my 30 years of Law Enforcement experience, I have served in multiple capacities such as; dispatcher, patrol supervisor, narcotics task force officer, and criminal detective.
Through my years of training and experience, I have had the opportunity to see the benefits of certain procedures and technological advancements that I would like to implement as your next Sheriff. As crime increases, we must be able to keep up with these changes to ensure the safety of every Union County Citizen. If you elect me as your next Sheriff of Union County, some of my goals include; combating cyber crimes, including human trafficking and solicitation of our minor children, the sale and use of harmful chemical drugs such as vapes and e-vapes (PoPs), and solving unsolved crimes by implementing a Major and Cold Case Unit.
As your next Sheriff, I will utilize funds, resources, time, and effort to your expectations. I will be transparent and available.
I humbly ask for your vote to make a CHANGE while making Union County a better and safer place for your family and mine.
