Charles Allen Johnston, 92

November 24, 1933  –  February 15, 2026

Tupelo-Charles Allen Johnston, wife of Joyce Johnston and father of Greg and the late Dr. Lynn Johnston Savely, died on Sunday evening, Feb. 15, 2026 from the Franks Green House at United Methodist Senior Services-Tupelo after a period of declining health. He was 92 years old.

A Service of Death and Resurrection will be held at 11 AM Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026 from the Sanctuary of First United Methodist Church with private family burial to follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will take place in the Gathering Room at the Church from 10 AM-service time on Thursday, 2/29/26. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo will publish a full obituary on Wednesday.
