Charles Edward “Eddie” Cash, 44

March 7, 1982 – April 13, 2026

With hearts that are heavy beyond words, we announce the tragic and untimely passing of Mr. Charles Edward “Eddie” Cash, whose precious life was taken far too soon in a devastating automobile accident alongside his beloved wife, Kelly Cash, and his cherished grandson, Kyrie Cash.

A memorial service honoring Eddie’s life will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Flat Rock Baptist Church in Benton County, with visitation beginning at 12 Noon. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM in the church cemetery.

Born on March 7, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, Eddie was the son of Mark and Linda Pearcy Grisham and Billy Winston Cash. He received his education from Olive Branch High School, where he met the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Kelly Thorne. From that moment forward, the two were inseparable. They were truly best friends, soulmates, and two hearts that beat as one. United in marriage in the month of September, they spent nearly twenty years building a life centered around love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to one another. Whether at home or at work, they were always side by side—even working together as a delivery team for Spark and Uber in Savannah, Tennessee.

Eddie was a man who lived life with a genuine and loving spirit. Above all, his faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was a guiding light in his life. He was a talented musician who found great joy in playing his guitar, singing Christian songs, and even writing many of his own. Music was not just a hobby for Eddie—it was a reflection of his heart, his faith, and the peace he found in sharing both with others.

Those who knew Eddie knew a man with a heart full of kindness and compassion. He had a way of making others feel seen, valued, and loved. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a word of encouragement. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought joy, and his love left a lasting mark on all who were blessed to know him.

His greatest pride and joy in life was his family. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, and the bond he shared with them will forever remain unbroken. Though his time here was far too short, the legacy he leaves behind is one of faith, love, and unwavering devotion.

In the midst of such unimaginable loss, there is a small but meaningful comfort in knowing, as shared by his son, that Eddie and Kelly “were doing better than they had in years,” a reflection of the peace and love that surrounded them in their final days together.

He leaves behind a loving and devoted family who will forever cherish his memory: his parents, Mark and Linda Grisham; his son, Ethan Scott Cash and wife Amber; his daughter, Allie Cash, his step brothers; Ralph High and wife Bree, and Seth High, along with a host of extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness and love.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that this is not a final goodbye, but a “see you later.” Eddie’s life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
