Charles Milton Smith, 49

Charles Milton Smith, 49, resident of Ripley, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his residence. Services remembering the life of Milton will be at 1 PM Tuesday, August 16 at Overflow Church in Ripley. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM at Overflow Church. Burial will follow in Lowry Cemetery.

Milton was born May 29, 1973 in Ripley and is the son of Dorothy Vandygriff Fryar and Alford Milton Smith. He received his education in the Pine Grove School System and was employed with local logging companies and Hodges Construction Co. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, pony pullings, watching westerns and wrestling on TV.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Billy Joe Vandygriff of Dumas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Joyce Burchett and a brother, Johnny Smith.
