Charlotte Faye Keith, 77
July 17, 1948 – August 23, 2025
Wren Community-Miss Charlotte Faye Keith entered eternal rest at Shearer Richardson Nursing Home in Okolona on Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2025 after a period of declining health. She was 77 years old. Born with developmental disabilities on July 17, 1948 near Doddsville, Sunflower Co., Miss, with developmental disabilities, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Glader Townsend Keith. Charlotte lived a full life much longer than expected. She enjoyed a lifetime of loving care from her parents, her siblings and a host of friends who loved and cared for her. After the death of her parents, she was cared for by her brother and sister in law, Donald “Don” and Kathy Keith in the Wren Community for most of the remainder of her life. She was blessed to have lived in the watchful care of Brandi’s Hope Assisted Living in Tupelo for 12 years. Nonverbal, Charlotte had a happy smile, a bubbly personality and enjoyed drawing, doodling and imagining with pen, crayon and notebook. She loved coloring books and always loved her family.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 29, 2025 in Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with private burial in the Keith family plot at Old Union Cemetery west of Shannon. Visitation will be from 10 AM-service time on Friday only. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Live-streaming and will be archived thereafter.
Charlotte’s surviving family includes her brothers, Donald Keith and wife, Kathy of Wren and James P. Keith of Tupelo. Aunt Charlotte loved her nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Glader Keith and a sister, Helen Keith.
