Cheyenne Schrock, 30
May 27, 1995 – August 20, 2025
Wren Community-Her life was all too brief but she filled her 30 years with family, adventure, exploration, music, and travel. Cheyenne Kelly Schrock was born in Tupelo on May 27,1995 to Michael Wayne Schrock and Daphne Green Schrock. A lifelong resident of Monroe County, she graduated from Hatley High School in 2012 at age 16. She received 2 Associate of Arts Degrees from Itawamba Community College, the first in General Education and the second in Early Childhood Development. She started working as a childcare technician with the College in 2018 at the Early Learning Center on the Tupelo Campus of ICC. After her cancer diagnosis in October 2022, she continued to work until Spring of 2023.
A warrior, fighter and determined young lady, Cheyenne was able to enjoy many vacation trips with her siblings from Chicago to Chattanooga, TN to Hot Springs, AR and many more places before cancer took her life. She was a versatile lady who loved many genres of music but was crazy about K-Pop and attended many concerts and music festivals with her siblings, including seeing her favorite band three times in concert. She loved horror movies and board games, refused to stay in a hotel in her many travels unless they had a hot tub, and enjoyed zip lining, when and wherever possible. Her greatest enjoyment was her family followed closely by her many friends.
