Christmas Spirit all over the Museum! -

Mississippi’s best small town museum was awash in Christmas Spirit on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The museum was beautifully set for the holiday events with an astonishing variety of lovely and interesting decorations.

In one spot, children of all ages were meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. Some were awed by the couple, many delightedly revealed their Christmas wishes, a few of the youngest would clearly have prefered staying in mom’s arms, and at least one little beauty slept through her whole meeting.

In other rooms, families worked together on scavenger hunt lists, worked on a variety of Christmas crafts, enjoyed refreshments, visited with friends. And to top it all off, gifted young musicians from the Tupelo Suzuki Association performed Christmas favorites on their violins.
