Christopher Lindsey, 53

June 3, 1972 – August 25, 2025

Amory- Christopher Jason “Chris” Lindsey, 53, departed this life to life eternal on Monday, August 25, 2025 from NMMC in Tupelo after a 2 month battle with non small cell lung cancer. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 3, 1972, Chris was truck driver all his life. He loved the open road crisscrossing the USA and loved seeing the beauty of America. He often took his young son, Callen (11 yrs old) with him where they established a wonderful bond. Chris completely found himself when he married April Rozan Cuevas Lindsey in Hamilton, Ala on Sept. 3, 2004. He moved to Amory in 2003 to be close to his future bride. He loved the family their marriage brought together and was most fond of his children and grands. He cherished the outdoors and especially fishing. Chris was an avid sports fan and loved nothing better than all things Miss. State (Go Dawgs). A member of Mills Community Baptist Church in Rienzi, he also was fond of watching NASCAR. His great devotion was to his family!

Surviving Chris are his wife of 21 years, April Lindsey of Amory; his sons, Zachery Owens and Callen Lindsey of the home; his daughters, Maygan Owens of Marietta and Ashley Carr (Cody) of Ecru; PoPo’s grandchildren, Brynnli, Lucas and Addie; his mother, Mary Lindsey Sein and husband, Jerry of Amory; a sister, Tabatha Hankins of Amory ; his mother in law, Gail Kemp (Chris) of Marietta and brother in law, Roman Cuevas (Brittany) of Nettleton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Myrtle Lindsey and father in law, Constantine Cuevas.
