Clerk’s office getting ready for tomorrow’s vote

Union County Circuit Clerk Phyllis Stanford and Election Commissioner Wes Creighton are shown Monday morning, August 5, as they prepare for Tuesday’s primary elections.

Steel ballot boxes for some of Union County’s 20 precincts are seen on the floor with them.

Candidates will be chosen in both Democratic and Republican primaries on Tuesday, August 6.

Polls open at 7 AM. and close at 7 PM.

Be sure to vote.

Reminder: you will need a photo ID, and you will have to choose either a Democrat or Republican ballot. So, if you are planning to support a particular favorite candidate, you must choose the party ballot bearing that person’s name.
