Coming events at the Museum bring the spirit Christmas
Traditions continue this holiday season at the Union County Heritage Museum with the many decorated Christmas Trees, and the annual visit from not only Santa Claus, but Mrs. Claus, who will be accompanying him this year on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 10 – 12.
This is a chance to visit with the merry couple, have photos made, give Santa your wish list, and make special holiday ornaments to carry home. This is a free event and is co-sponsored with the Historic Northside District Garden Club. Free hot chocolate and cookies are the icing on this event!
On Saturday, December 16, from 10 – 12, Pancakes and Pajamas is an event for children and families to visit the museum in their pjs and enjoy pancakes, hot chocolate and holiday games, crafts and STEM activities. This is a chance to learn the “science of fluffy pancakes” and then eat them!
Visitors can enjoy the Christmas scavenger hunt and get into the spirit of the season. These events are free. For more information, call the museum at 662-538-0014 or come by 114 Cleveland Street, New Albany, MS 38652.
