Cynthia “Cindy” Lou  White, 62

July 22, 1963 – November 27, 2025

Cynthia Lou “Cindy” White, age 62, departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the comfort of her home in Ecru, Mississippi, surrounded by the love she poured so freely into others.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. This will be a time for all who knew and loved her to come together, share stories, and reflect on the treasured memories made with such a truly wonderful lady.

Born on July 22, 1963, in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Cindy was the daughter of the late James and Willa Mae Harmon Irvin. She received her education through the Pennsylvania Public School System, and on April 6, 1999, she married the love of her life, Mr. John David White, who survives. Together, they built a beautiful life and proudly raised their three daughters. Devoted to her home and her family, Mrs. Cindy embraced her role as a homemaker, pouring her heart into creating a space that was warm, welcoming, and filled with love.

A Christian and faithful Southern Baptist, Mrs. Cindy carried a gentle, steady kind of faith. In earlier years, she enjoyed getting out with John, attending social events, visiting with friends, and being part of the little everyday moments that made life sweet. As the years went by, she found joy in the peace and quiet of home—her favorite place on earth. She loved spending time tending to her yard, often supervising while John planted whatever new flowers she had picked out, and she always looked forward to their occasional outings for dinner.

Mrs. Cindy understood that the true riches of life were not found in things, but in the people, God placed around her. She was a simple woman who cherished life’s simple pleasures—home, family, love, and laughter. Her presence brought comfort, her heart gave warmth, and her absence will be felt beyond measure.

In addition to her husband of twenty six years, Mr. John David, memories will continue to be cherish by three daughters, Debra Lau Frederick (James Earl), Tina Marie Smith (James), and Seira Kayla Dillard, two sisters, Kelli Ahlum and Terren Ahlum, one brother, George “Scooter” Ahlum (Terri), six grandchildren, Justus Clay Bearden (Chloe), Lana Joy Trimble, James Earl Frederick III, Jayden Shane Dillard, Lilly Grace Frederick, and Bryson Wayne Dillard, her canine companion, Bernice, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
