Cynthia Ledlow, 62

February 17, 1963  –  October 23, 2025

Cynthia Sturdivant Ledlow passed away on October 23, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on February 17, 1963, Cynthia’s zest for life and love for her family shone brightly for 62 years. She was a beacon of strength and joy to those who knew her, touching the lives of many with her adventurous spirit and gentle heart.

Cynthia leaves behind a loving and devoted family. Her legacy includes her daughter, Jessica Ann Dodd, and her three proud sons, Shawn and Rodney Ledlow and Brandon Jones, step children, Freddie Wayne Jones, Rosie Jones, Herbert Caine, Corey Page and Dusty Page. Cynthia was a sister held dear by her two brothers, Eugene and Ricky Sturdivant. She found immense joy as a grandmother to eight grandchildren and was excited about one great-granddaughter, Taytum Blair Messer, and one on the way. Cynthia was warmly welcomed into eternity by her parents, Cecil and Peggy Kitchens Sturdivant; her sister Monia Gasaway; and her granddaughter Joy Ann Ledlow, who preceded her in death.

Having earned an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Cynthia dedicated years of service as a truck driver for Furniture Rowe. Cynthia’s passions were rooted in the earthy pleasures of life. An unapologetic country lady, she reveled in western culture, cherished the majesty of horses, and took pleasure in the thunderous power of big trucks. Her family was her world, with her grandchildren and great-grandchild being the most precious jewels.

Cynthia Sturdivant Ledlow’s journey on this earth may have reached its sunset, but the light she cast will illuminate the paths of all she loved for generations to come. Her story is one of love, resilience, and the enduring bonds of family—a story that will be told with joy and affection, keeping her spirit alive forevermore.
