Daisy Lee Hill Tubbs, 74
September 6, 1950 – January 3, 2025
Beloved wife, mother, grandmom, aunt, and loving friend Daisy Lee Hill Tubbs was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on January 3, 2025, surrounded by family at her home after an extended illness. Born September 6, 1950, in Lee County, Mississippi, unto the union of her loving parents Ira Lee Hill and Myrtle Hall Hill.
Early in life, she accepted Christ as her savior and joined the Mud Creek M.B. Church, where she remained faithful until her illness. She was active with the Adult Choir, Usher Board, Sunday School Teacher, and the Kitchen Committee.
Daisy Lee Tubbs was a former employee of the Lee County School District and a retired employee of Sears Department Store and Phillips Daybright. Her family and friends were her joy in life, left to cherish he memory: her loving and devoted husband, Charles Gerald Tubbs, adult children, Anthony (Germaine) Hill, Amhad (Atiana) Tubbs, step-children, Charles Tubbs, Jr., Brad Smalls. twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Siblings Erma Reeves, Robert Hall, one aunt; Tinnie Hall and three special friends, Haxel Scott, Gracie Kolheim, and Alfreda Lockridge.
Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Ira B. Hill, Earl Hill, and Herman Hill, one stepdaughter; Wanda Tubbs and a host of other relatives and friends.
