Danny Alexander, 70, of Guntown, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at his home. He was born June 17, 1956.

Danny was a simple man who found joy in the things he loved most. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping, watching The Andy Griffith Show, and sitting around a campfire telling stories. He enjoyed spending time in his shed working on woodworking projects and could often be found working with his hands on his latest project. One of his favorite things was dancing with his beloved wife and favorite dance partner, Pam.

Danny worked as a salesman for Golden Flake and Wonder Bread before retiring from Frito-Lay. He was known by many as the “Chip Man”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Mamie Ruth Alexander.

Danny leaves behind his wife, Pam Alexander; brother, Wayne Alexander (Glenda); sister, Diane Coward (Ricky); daughters, Amy Jennings (Jason) and Michelle McDonald (James); stepdaughters, Jennifer McGill (Michael) and Leslie Tidwell; grandchildren, Hunter Jennings (Kalan), Caleb Jennings, Clay Jennings, Luke Jennings, Cheyenne Garrett (Aiden), Kayla Butler (Bubba), Addie McDonald (Austin), Austin McGill (Anna), Haley Hendrix (Tanner), Hunter McGill, and Hayden Tidwell; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Danny will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His stories, his laughter, his love of the outdoors, and the memories made around a campfire will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

There will be a memorial service at Guntown First Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Robbins officiating on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The family will be there at 3:00 p.m. for family and friends to come by, share happy memories, and celebrate Danny’s life.
