David E. Moore, 63

May 10, 1961 – January 18, 2025

David Eugene Moore was born to Luther Autry and Francis Louise Crouch Moore on May 10, 1961 in Falkner, MS. He was the youngest of four sons.

David was a factory worker and truck driver.

He loved to aggravate and would chuckle after getting you riled up. He enjoyed day trips with his brothers, hunting and fishing, working in his garden and competing for who would have the first ripe tomato of the season, riding his four-wheeler and running a tractor. He loved to spoil his nieces and nephews with soda and candy. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was known as a good friend to many. He was affectionately known by many as Mopie and/or Big Moore.

David made a profession of faith on August 17, 2004. He attended Unity Baptist Church.

David passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center on 1/18/2025 at the age of 63.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Autry and Louise; a niece, Melissa Moore and a nephew, Kenny Ray Moore, Jr.

He is survived by his family: Roger Dale (Wanda Darleen)Moore of Ripley; Robin (James), Easton, Everly, Elliott Gates; Robert (Brandy), Roger Dale, Dawson Moore; Mickey (Kathy)Moore of Falkner; Jessica (Brandon) Damstra; Autry (Jamie) Windham; Emma Windham; Rebecca (Corey), Manning, Millie Claire Ross; Katie (Jonathan), Joe Chlarson; Elijah (ClaraChilds), Eli Moore; Kenny (Bonnie) Moore; and Kody Moore.

David was loved and will be missed.

Obituary by Bro. Kody Moore and services by Bro. Ronnie Barefield will be at 12 Noon on Monday January 20, 2025, at Unity Baptist Church in Tippah County, with visitation from 10 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
