David Taylor, 75

June 28, 1949 – May 24, 2025

David Duane Taylor passed away on May 24, 2025. He was born June 28, 1949, to the late Annie Jane Dill and Herbert Roy Taylor. David loved the Lord and his family. He spent most of his life working in the furniture industry. He enjoyed wood work, gardening, sitting on the swing, and running his beagles with his two sons and grandsons.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Brooks Taylor, three children, Jason Taylor (Jennifer), Andy Taylor (Diane) Maryjane McMillen (Jeremy) six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and one sister, Linda Beaty. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Sylvia Wallace and Mona Simpson, and one brother, William “Bill” Taylor.

The service to celebrate his life will be held at Enterprise Baptist Church on Tuesday May 27, at 4:00pm with Bro. Scotty Pannell and Bro. Robert Shepard officiating. Visitation will be before from 2:00pm – 4:00pm also at Enterprise. Pallbearers will be Jackie Brown Terry Denton, Scotty Christian, Bill Russell, Leon Wilson, Matt Collins, Benji Tindall and Gary Morman. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Pontotoc Beagle Club.
