Deborah Lynn Nowlin Davidson, known lovingly to family and friends as Debbie, passed away on September 10, 2026, at NMMC in Tupelo, Mississippi, at the age of 66.
Debbie was born on October 17, 1959, in Aurora, Illinois, to Charles Porter Nowlin and Elaine Sickler Nowlin. She lived a life marked by warmth, humor, creativity, and a deep devotion to the people and things she loved. She was a Christian and carried her faith quietly and sincerely throughout her life.
Debbie worked for many years as a Lab Tech before her health declined and she became disabled. She approached her work with care and responsibility, and those who knew her understood that she brought the same steady spirit to her daily life. Even when life brought challenges, she remained resilient and continued to face each day with strength and grace.
Debbie was a woman who found joy in simple pleasures and took great pride in her home. She loved painting and enjoyed spending time caring for her flowers and tending her flower beds. She especially loved decorating and creating a home that reflected her personality and creativity. Her interests were as colorful and memorable as she was, and she had a special appreciation for thrifting and a good yard sale. She also enjoyed watching true crime dramas, which gave her hours of entertainment and something interesting to talk about.
Above all else, Debbie loved her family. She cherished time spent with her sons, Corey Davidson and his wife Carlie, and Josh Frazier and his wife Kayla. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Brett and Colt Frazier, and her grandchildren brought her great happiness. She also shared a bond with her brothers, Terry Nowlin and his wife Dee, Charlie Nowlin and his wife Tracie, and Scott Nowlin. She treasured her mother, Elaine Nowlin, and held her family close in her heart throughout her life.
Debbie also dearly loved her two adored pups, Piper and Chevy, who brought her companionship and comfort. She was preceded in death by her adored father and her special dog, Apollo, whom she loved very much.
Those who know Debbie will remember her as funny, interesting, and creative. She loved to laugh, and she especially loved to make other people laugh. Her sense of humor and lively personality left a lasting impression on everyone around her. She had a gift for brightening a room and making ordinary moments feel special. Her laughter, her stories, and her unique way of seeing the world will be deeply missed.
Debbie’s life was one of love, devotion, and personality. She leaves behind a family who will always remember her kindness, her creativity, and the joy she brought into their lives. Though she is no longer here, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Serviced to honor her life will be Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at United Funeral Service. A visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in the Glenfield Cemetery.
