Dennis Mitchell, 72

Dennis Mitchell, 72, died on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation in Tupelo. He was born March 11, 1952 in New Albany to William Daniel and Jewel Murry Mitchell. He was retired from Statford Furniture. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

As per the family’s wishes, no services will take place. They ask for your support and fond memories to carry on their loved one’s legacy.

He is survived by two sisters, Diane Sanders of Raymond, MS and Janet Freeman (Terry) of New Albany; one brother, Alan Mitchell of New Albany; one niece, Stacey Abel of Raymond, MS; one nephew, Josh Freeman of New Albany; two great nephews, Logan and Garrett Cross; and a family friend, David Yancey.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
