Denny Williams, 74

September 9, 1952 – October 14, 2026

Dennis Howard Williams, Jr., passed away on October 14, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union County in New Albany, Mississippi. He was born on September 9, 1952, in New Albany, Mississippi, and lived a life marked by honesty, humor, and devotion to the people he loved most.

Denny was the husband of Linda Brickett Williams and a proud father to his three daughters, Heather Hogue and her husband Clay, Erika Foster, and Kayla Williams. He was a brother to Teresa Johnson; a grandfather to Zain Davis and his wife Ashlee, Zachary Davis, and Rafe Hogue. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Howard Williams, Sr., his mother, Lena Helen Smithey, and two sisters.

Denny spent many years working before retiring from Master-Bilt. He approached life with a straightforward spirit and a sense of humor that those around him will always remember. He was sarcastic in the best way and honest to the core.

Outside of work, Denny enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful to him. He loved football and followed the Denver Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Kansas City Chiefs with enthusiasm. He especially enjoyed cooking and could often be found at the grill, preparing food for the people he cared about. He also loved classic rock. More than anything, he loved his family, and that love was evident in the way he lived, laughed, and shared his time with them.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 24, 2026 at Glenfield Baptist Church with Bro. Kody Moore officiating. United Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.
