DeQuan C. Lewis was born October 8, 1994 to Tahesha Beene and Marcel Lewis. DeQuan, affectionally known as “Quan” to his family and friends, was a beacon of light to everyone he met. Quan was a graduate of Baldwyn High School. He was known for his beautiful sense of humor and his unconditional love for his family.
On January 2, 2025, God called Quan home. He leaves to cherish his memory to his dad Marcel Lewis. His grandmother Joy Griffin and grandfather Eotis Carter. Three brothers, Marcell Dewayne Lucas, Ravon Capri (Queena) Bowdry and Ty Darius Jackson. Three sisters: Dezhane Dymone Danielle Norton, Tia Lewis and Taliah Lewis.
Six nieces and nephews: Bailee Lucas, Chance Bowdry, Kamora Bowdry, Kari Bowdry Kylan Beauford and Kyce Bowdry.
Eight aunts: Rachel Smith, Murjani Sara Smith, Felicia James, Dawn Carter, and Tanisha Williams.
Five uncles: Booker T. Bowdry, Lamar (Natasha) Anderson, Eotis Carter, and Matthew Griffin.
Five Great Aunts: Georgia Mae Ragin, Ida Glen Chandler, Alice (Troy) Agnew, Jean Stewart and Joan Morris.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tahesha Beene; grandmother, Shirley Ann Johnson; aunt, Candance Johnson and great -aunt Jerlene Riley and great-great aunt Georgia Hatchet.
