New Albany- James Dwayne “Chicken” Stroud, age 83, died Friday, June 28, 2019. He was born October 26, 1935 in new Albany, MS, to the late James Elbert and Telucia Jennings Stroud. He served in the Mississippi Army National Guard and was a poultry chicken farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Whiteside Stroud; one daughter, Kathy Clark (Rodney) of West Union; one son, Don Stroud (Darlene), of Collierville, TN.; five grandchildren; Beth Clark Brown (Eric), Jessica Clark Webb (Ross), Abby Clark, Katie Stroud, Ben Stroud; one great-grandchild, Hadlee Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents.
