Saltillo-Douglas Wayne Holmes, 51, departed this earthly pilgrimage for his eternal home from NMMC-Tupelo on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. A full obituary will be posted tomorrow and the service times are listed below.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 17, 2026 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with family friend, John Steele speaking. Private burial will follow in Ellistown Cemetery in Ellisville. Visitation will be from Noon-service time on Friday only at the funeral home.
