Elaine Singles, 71

October 15, 1953 – December 14, 2024

Clarice Elaine Singles, 71, of Ecru, Mississippi passed away at her home on December 14, 2024. “Claire” Singles was the daughter of Clarence and Marguerite Hardy, sister to Lideth Brueggeman and Carolyn Hardy, and a loving mother to Veronica Garcia, Marjorie Delacruz, and Shane Singles.

Claire enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the auction, being outside with her flowers, reading books, and being with her dog, Chase. Claire was loved by many and will truly be missed.

Claire is survived by her husband, Donald Vipond; two sisters, Lideth (Norm) Brueggeman and Carolyn Hardy; two daughters, Veronica (Miguel) Garcia and Marjorie Delacruz; six grandchildren, Grace Delacruz, Faith Delacruz, Victoria Delacruz, Miguel Garcia, Jr., Anna Garcia, and Jhona Garcia.

Claire was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Marguerite Hardy; her precious son, Shane Singles; and one son in law, Victor Delacruz.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Payton Mortuary. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Payton Mortuary.
