Enlist in the Battle of the Badges blood drive and support your chosen team

,

No matter who wins the Battle of the Badges, it is those in need of blood who will win the war.

The New Albany Police Department, The Union County Sheriff’s Department, and Fire Fighters from the city and county will be lining up their forces and supporters to see who will “shed the most blood” in the Battle of the Badges.

Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) will have the Donor Coach set up at the Fairgrounds all day ( 10AM to 6PM) this Thursday (July 14th) to decide the winner of the battle.

All donors will receive a T-shirt, and all will be registered for a chance to win a 2016 Jeep Renegade.

All donors should bring an ID.

MBS reccommends that all donors eat within 4 hours of donating blood and that they drink plenty of fluids both before and after donating. Interested donors can also download an AP from MBS that will enable them to check their overall cholesterol level.

Come support your law enforcement and first responder team of choice, and make a great difference to someone in need of blood or blood products.
