Middle school students learn about becoming entrepreneurs

Alison Moore, Business & Marketing Instructor at the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education, visited New Albany Middle School on September 24 and spoke to students in Tracy Vainisi’s and Heather Hefner’s classes.  Moore introduced the students to the concept of entrepreneurship.  The lesson included a multimedia, interactive presentation introducing students to well known entrepreneurs in the United States.  Students also learned about non-traditional career paths and opportunities available at the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education. This lesson and presentation were provided as part of the Career & Technical Education Non-Traditional Participation Grant Project.  The goal of this grant is to provide students enriched and rigorous early exposure to non-traditional related experiences.
